The FITASC season kicked off at Four Seasons, with mud and delays the order of a testing day in more ways than one.
Forestry workers had been clearing trees from the ground until the 11th hour before the shoot and even with a very early start from the ground’s team the first squads were running an hour-and-a-half late starting shooting.
A few shooters were unable to stay but all who did were treated to some very engaging targets over the Lough & Lane layouts. David Logan put in a 25-straight on squad one as he started on the Lane layout – it was to be the only straight of the day.
Joe Tomlinson and Phillip Bryans finished tied on 46 and with Phillip leaving before the end Joe took High Gun.
