Team England Announced

The final 11 members of Team England’s shooting squad for the Commonwealth Games 2014 have been announced, and will compete in the trap, double trap and skeet events.

With just 43 days left until the Commonwealth Games kick off, the squad of 25 includes BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year Amber Hill and double gold medalist Charlotte Kerwood. Two Commonwealth veterans, Aaron Heading and Steve Scott will be defending their Dehli 2010 titles. Returning skeet champion, Rory Warlow, who won the gold at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games and was a member of Team GB for the London 2012 Olympic Games, has also joined the team.

Jan Paterson, Chef de Mission for Team England, said: “This group of athletes completes our shooting squad and I’d like to welcome them all to Team England. They’re a hugely talented group of athletes who are committed to playing their part in our success in Glasgow.”

Join the team are: Matt French, Mike Gilligan, Sarah Gray, Aaron Heading, Amber Hill, Charlotte Kerwood, Rachel Parish, Caroline Povey, Steve Scott, Dave Sipling and Rory Warlow.
