Support for young shots

Beretta and GMK have launched a new Young Shots scheme to help fund and encourage young clay shooters.

Beretta1The Young Shots scheme is ideally looking for candidates aged between 15 and 18 years, and who have already achieved a level of success at regional competitions. Preference will be given to shooters from English and FITASC Sporting, DTL, Olympic Trap and Double Trap, and Olympic Skeet. The specially selected team will be offered:

  • Financial support: up to £200 worth of entry fees to National Championships will be reimbursed
  • Beretta merchandise: a Beretta uniform and shooting accessories worth £500
  • Beretta competition shotgun: provided on loan during the sponsorship contract, there will be an option to buy it outright at the end of the sponsorship term. The gun will be fitted and serviced as necessary during the sponsorship period, and a £1,000 allowance towards the optional purchase of the loan gun will be provided at the end of the contract.

Looking to support individuals who are ambitious and show great potential in their chosen discipline, Beretta and GMK are asking those who feel they may be eligible for the scheme to apply by the end of April 2014. Please click here or email Emma on eparkin@gmk.co.uk for an application form. Candidates must apply in writing and send in details of a reference (such as a parent or shooting instructor).
