Royal Berkshire Shooting School has announced a working relationship with Reading University to support and sponsor its clay shooting team.
Managing director Dylan Williams has allocated two members of staff to the university team, Steve Turner and Peter Wilkins, and will provide use of shotguns and English Sporting tuition each week. He said: “Many university shooting clubs are supported by individuals and shooting grounds and I hope this initiative will spur others to get involved in the same way.”
Chair of the Reading University Clay Pigeon Shooting Club Sam Gosling thanked the school for its support and said: “This will enable every member to reach their potential, improve our performance in competition and also raise the profile of the club, and clay shooting, within the university and further afield.”
