Sunseeker London and Boodles have joined the team at Royal Berkshire Shooting School to continue the ground’s high tower competition legacy.
The event builds on the success of previous incarnations that, in recent years, boasted support from Stratstone and Browning, but the 2016/2017 campaign has secured sponsorship from one of the most luxurious holiday companies in the world, and one of the finest British jewellery designers around.
The format of the competition remains similar, with competitors paying £50 for a 50-bird warm-up shoot and two attempts at the 25-bird sequence. The 20 highest scores on the tower will advance to the final, where Sunseeker will put up a luxury cruise holiday worth £80,000, and Boodles will also offer £80,000 worth of prizes from its finest collections. During the final, if a shooter hits 23 or more, they can choose one of these prizes. If nobody hits 23, RBSS will offer £5,000 to the top shooter.
The entrants who scored out of 100 during the qualifying period will be invited to shoot-off for a chance to win an Ultimate Shoot Dinner hosted by win writer Will Lyons thanks to Berry Bros & Russ, which is worth an estimated £10,000.
Entries open on 1 October, and will close on 28 January Call 01491 672900 to book your spot.
