Promatic has acquired French electronic company JP Baron.
Run by Jean-Pierre Baron, who is an industry-recognised designer and manufactured of automated scoring and trap control systems, JP Baron has become successful since its first launch in 2001 by creating voice-automated trap controllers, sequential scoring systems and scoreboard display software that is used around the world.
Promatic’s investment hopes to develop the Claymate system, and CEO Brian Jardine said: “We are fully dedicated to providing innovative equipment to our customers. JP Baron has joined the team as Promatic is ready to take our existing electronic products to the next level.”
Jean-Pierre Baron said: “I have watched the development and success of Promatic and the Claymate system, and feel that this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a project to fulfil the current and future requirements of the industry.”
