Last weekend saw the Peter Dalton Memorial Trophy series started at Ashley Shooting Ground in Tiverton.
Though low on numbers, competitors enjoyed the first shoot, which takes place over 12 Sporting events in total and is designed to recognise consistency in Junior shooters.
Marcus Fisher was the highest scoring Junior with a score of 61.
The first-placed prize for the Juniors at the end of the series is £200, and now the competition has opened up for Lady shots, who will battle it out for a High Gun prize of £100.
The next event is at West Tapps Shooting Ground near Oakford on 10 August.
