Oh Canada!

The ICTSF World Sporting event in Canada has reached a familiar conclusion, with George Digweed finishing on top of the podium. His red layout score of 109, combined with 93 on the white course, saw him with a total of 202 to finish just two clays ahead of fellow Brit, and Runner Up, Richard Faulds.

British shooters were out in force as Nick Hendrick was Third Overall with 199 and he also shot in the England Open team, alongside Scott Greenfield, Adam Cork and John Lee, who claimed the team championship prize. The England Junior team also beat Sweden and the home favourites.

Graham Stirzaker finished third in Class M with 195, which was enough to top his Veteran class and contribute to the winning Veteran team with Keith Roe.

ICTSF-NEWSRachel Willcock came third in the Ladies category. Tanya Faulds and Rosie Brumby did their nation proud to finish fourth and sixth, respectively.

George Digweed has now won 22 World Sporting titles with this being his second in 2013. It also comes after winning two European championships earlier this year.
