Engineers at Recoil Systems have come up with a new fully adjustable recoil pad system, after their ISIS Green Recoil Pad proved a big hit.
The new system, where the mechanism is an integral part of the pad itself, allows maximum thickness of the recoil and vibration absorbing material, with a minimum thickness of the adjustment mechanism, requiring less reduction in stock length.
The body and base plate of the pad are made from extremely tough impact absorbing polymer, making the whole unit lightweight and easy to machine.
Adjustment is very simple, just two screws to loosen and no need to remove the pad.
A hexagonal key is supplied with each unit and a black dye pen is also supplied if the user wants to black in the edges of the pad.
The pad can also be removed from the adjustment mechanism so it can be used as a conventional recoil pad, already profiled to the stock or the ISIS II Hydraulic Recoil Reducer.
The unit is supplied in 20mm; 25mm and 29mm thickness, in the ISIS Green Pad Surefit profiles. Prices are: 20mm £83; 25mm and 29mm £93 including VAT and postage (within mainland UK).
