ICTSC agree new ABT rules

New rules for the Automatic Ball Trap discipline are expected to come into force from January.

The decision came about after attendees at the ICTSC meeting held on Friday October 2 proposed that rules be amended to make the discipline less difficult.

It was agreed to reduce the target distance from 75m +/- 1m to 70m +/- 1m and reduce the angles from 32.5° +/- 5° to 30° +/- 2.5°.

The new regulations will be officially introduced on January 1, 2016 but any grounds wishing to do so will be permitted to introduce them straight away.

The CPSA have said that this new format may be used in CPSA Registered shoots from now on and will be incorporated into their rule book in due course.
