George Digweed and Cheryl Hall top the Essex Masters

Sam GreenSecuring an eighth win at the annual event, George Digweed topped the Essex Masters with his score of 191 on Thursday, going one better than Sam Green, who shot the day before.

Steve Clark, Henry Arnold and Phil Gray all made challenges to the top score at Hepworth Hall Shooting Ground, but none of them could go better than 189ex-200 on John Dyson’s targets.

In the Ladies category, Cheryl Hall’s 176 finished three ahead of Georgia Moule. Carl Bloxham overcame a tight race for the top spot in Veterans, finishing with 182 to beat a trio on 181. Junior Josh Bridges won his score on the same score, and Colts saw Charlie Soanes finish on top.
