To mark their its year in business, the Femmes Fatales ladies-only shooting club is hosting a competition for experienced shots at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School.
Taking place on Saturday 2 May, the first annual Femmes Fatales Cup is an 80-bird Sporting competition that will run alongside a group tuition session for novices. The aim of running these concurrently is, according to Femmes Fatales, to give the novices “the chance to see first hand what a wonderfully rewarding sport clay pigeon shooting can be at a competitive level.”
Entry to the competition is £50, with prizes including an £800 Really Wild Clothing voucher, cartridges, Raisthorpe Manor sloe gin and the Femmes Fatales Trophy. Beginners can participate in a morning’s group lesson, including breakfast, gun hire, cartridges and safety wear, for £105.
Both groups are invited to stay on for a sit-down lunch in the RBSS marquee after their shooting, during which the prizes will be presented. The lunch costs £45, and both this and the shooting can be booked through RBSS on +44(0)1491 672900.
