Essex shoot helps hospice

On Thursday 4th June Little Havens Hospice is hosting a shoot at the Fennes, Braintree, to raise money for its work with babies, children and teenagers from across Essex who have a life-limiting illness. The hospice provides pain control, respite and care to those at the end of their lives, completely free of charge.

Harry 0240The day starts at 9am with bacon rolls and coffee on arrival, followed by a 70 clay shoot and finally a two-course lunch at 2.30pm. Awards will be given for Highest Scoring Team, Best Shot, Worst Shot, Best Dressed and an optional High Tower Challenge. A raffle and auction will also take place during lunch.

This is the second year that the shoot has taken place and it is back by popular demand, as fundraiser Francesca Wisbey comments: “Everyone who took part last year had a great day and we hope more people will come and join us this year. Our hospice can only exist because of the support of people in the community and taking part in one of our fun events is a great way to do that. Together, we’re making every day count”

Entry is for teams of four and is £125 per person. For more information, or to register a team, contact Francesca Wisbey on 01702 220355 or send her an email.
