There are changes afoot to the competition season for the Disabled Shooters Group in 2016.

In previous years, each date featured an All Round competition and top shooters in each sub-discipline would be rewarded at the end of the season, but now there will be bigger competitions comprising more targets.

01_The first of these will kick off on Saturday 19 March at the Priory Clay Target Centre on Chalk Lane in Sutton Bridge. The ground was opened by Olympic Trap hotshot Aaron Heading and his partner Natasha Jones at the end of last year, and the competition will mark its first date set for disabled shooters.

It will be a 100 DTL competition as part of a Challenge Shield series, which is made up of four dates across different disciplines. The DSG is also seeking sponsorship for the series.
