George Digweed has returned from another trip victorious, this time with a trophy from San Martino Rio Salso Di Tavullia, in Italy, for the European FITASC Compak Clay Shooting Championship.

FITASC-NewsThe trip over 20-23 June was a success for several British shooters, including the world champion from San Antonio, Richard Faulds. He took home the silver after a tense shoot-off with the home-favourite, Marco Battisti. Also in attendance was 2013 Clay Shooting Classic winner Mark Winser and Ladies champion from the same event Cheryl Hall with a fantastic score of 194. John Bidwell topped the Super Veterans category with 187 and Stephen Grant won Veterans, leaving the only classification without a British winner to be the Juniors. Taylor Hedgecock and Nathan Hales fought hard to land in ninth and 12th place, respectively.

Congratulations to all the British competitors involved for another successful trip abroad.
