Chris Childerhouse claims the English Open

Chris Childerhouse hit a clean 113 to finish first after the 120-bird English Open at West Midlands Shooting Ground last week, and conquered the super final to pick up the trophy.

IMG_4217Chris has shot around the top of the leaderboard at several big national and international competitions in recent years, but this is his first major win.

Lucy Pitt beat Rosie Brumby and Cheryl Hall for the Ladies title, while the Juniors was won by Sam Upton after a tense shoot-off with Josh Bridges. Arnie Palmer won the Veterans on count-back after tying with Carl Bloxham, and Amy Easeman won Colts and Lady Colts.

In the Disabled categories, Adrian Last hit 84 in the Sitting competition, while Jamie Gutteridge score 96 in the Standing contest.
