Bywell Shooting Ground, located in the heart of Northumberland, recently held an official grand opening event to celebrate their expanded gunroom, retail space and cartridge store.
Since it’s inception in 1980, Bywell Shooting Ground’s business and commercial development has gone from strength to strength, but more recently, the shooting ground has undergone a substantial transformation. Almost exactly one year ago, a major re-development of the gunroom and shop facilities began as the business began to outgrow its premises.
The gunroom, retail space and cartridge store were all set to be hugely expanded to cater for a growing customer base. It was a complex project requiring numerous stages of construction and shop fitting but after 12 hard months work the grand official opening took place.
The opening event had huge support from manufacturers and companies in the gun trade such as Perazzi, Rizzini, Blaser, Ceasar Guerini, Beretta, Browning, Sako, Tikka and Hull Cartridge Company. They all came along with their trade stands with a variety of new guns and products to show. In addition, demo guns were also on show that could be tested on the ground.
Guests supporting the ground arrived steadily throughout the evening and enjoyed complimentary drinks and canapés.
