After an incredible shoot-off with the amazing Italian Diana Bacosia, Amber Hill burst back to the top of the international stage by winning a fantastic gold medal and an Olympic quota place for Britain at Rio 2016.
Diana hit 75-straight in qualifying to Amber’s 73, then they both hit 16 in the semi-final and 15 in the final before heading into a sudden-death shoot-off that went on for 30 targets until the Italian missed after number 29.
Amber said: “Diana is an incredible shooter. To hit 75-straight then do that in the final was incredible, but I wasn’t going to let her win this time because I’ve been fighting so hard for this and I can’t believe it has happened after a bit of a rocky start to the year.”
