Troy Foods Clay Shooting Classic FITASC scores

With beautiful weather on Friday, the second day of the Troy Foods Clay Shooting Classic FITASC, shooters arrived at Westfield Shooting Ground in astonishment upon seeing the scoreboard.

The World FITASC champion, Ed Solomons, shot 143ex-150 on Thursday, which was seven targets clear of his nearest rival, George Digweed. These two had booked their place for the shoot-off on Sunday, but would be joined by a the top scorers from every other day of the competition. Print

On Friday, another shooter on good form joined the winning party. John Lee, who hit 24-straight in the Beretta World shoot-off a few weeks ago, booked his place on Sunday in the final with a score of 137 – please note this is not indicated on the downloadable score sheet, but this will be ammended tomorrow. Des Sturgess filled out the second spot from Friday’s selection with a score of 133, and he will head into the Zoli Super Shoot-Off on Sunday for the main prize of a Zoli Z-Extra Sport.
