Britain’s biggest Ladies shooting club, The Shotgun & Chelsea Bun Club, will be joining the prestigious list of sponsors for the 2015 Clay Shooting Classic when the nation’s favourite Sporting competition will return to Windrush Shooting Ground between 24-27 June 2015.
The date will also celebrate National Ladies Shooting Day on the 27 June, and club founder Victoria Knowles-Lacks is giving every member who enters the Classic on one of the four days a £5 discount to the competition’s entry price. Members wanting to take advantage of this offer will need to call the Clay Shooting Company to book their place instead of filling out the entry form.
However, the generosity of Victoria and the rest of The Shotgun & Chelsea Bun Club doesn’t stop there. The club is also supplying prizes for the winner and runners up of the Ladies category. First place will win a Maypole tweed jacket, exclusively designed for the club, worth £325. Second and third places will win a Shotgun & Chelsea Bun Club gilet each as well, in addition to the usual cash prizes.
Victoria said: “We’re really proud to have joined the sponsorship team this year. The Classic is an excellent event and we’re grateful to Clay Shooting magazine for giving us the opportunity.”
The club is also supporting the British Schools & Young Shots Championship this year and will be putting together over £1,000 in prizes for Clay Shooting magazine events, not including the £5 Classic discount for members.
