The Welsh Open DTL was held at Mid Wales Shooting Ground on 6-7 July, and of the 262 entries, two shooters emerged.
Paul Chaplow shot 100/300 on Saturday and faced tough competition from Jack Thompson who equaled that score. After a head-to-head shoot-off Paul’s experience carried him through to earn High Gun.
Despite scoring 99/294 on the opening day, Lee Kirby returned on Sunday and topped the leaderboard as the only shooter to score 100/300 and take the Welsh Open championship title.
