Shooters announced for the Baku 2015 European Games

Amber Hill will compete in Women’s Skeet at Baku, Azerbaijan


Team GB’s shooting teams are getting ready to compete at Baku 2015 in June, where they will take on the elite of Europe’s pistol, rifle and shotgun competitors.

With 15 Rio 2016 quota places up for grabs, the GB shooters will be going all-out to impress at this event, which is the inaugural edition of the European Games.

The shooters heading to Baku 2015 are:

 

Women’s Trap

Abbey Ling (28, from Somerset)

Abbey is the first woman to be crowned British champion three years in a row.

Charlotte Kerwood (28, from Fletching, East Sussex)

Charlotte is a four-time Commenwealth Games gold medallist and has competed at the Olympic Games twice. You can follow her on Twitter: @charkerwood

 

Ed Ling

Ed Ling will face tough competition in Men’s Trap

Men’s Trap

Ed Ling (32, from Wellington, Somerset)

Ed was a silver medallist at the 2014 World Championships

Brad Davis (29, from Guildford)

Brad won a silver medal at the 2014 British Championships

 

Women’s Skeet

Elena Allen (42, from Newport)

Elena was a silver medallist in the individual Skeet event at the 2014 World Championships

Amber Hill (17, from Bracknell)

Jeremy Bird (25, from Hartlepool)

Jeremy came in seventh at the 2014 World Championships in Men’s Skeet.

Mike Gilligan (25, from Derby)
