The Classic is underway!

Yes, the 2012 Clay Shooting Classic is finally here after months of excitement and preparation.

The services and all-new Gamekeepers event took place yesterday amid testing conditions, with the odd torrential downpour trying its utmost to dampen spirits. But with classic British spirit the competitors battled on and the day was a complete success and enjoyed by all.

Nick Beavis of Checkly Wood took the Gamekeepers high gun, claiming the £250 prize donated by BASC.

Anthony Dean of the Police service was victorious in the Services event, taking home 1000 cartridges courtesy of Eley Hawk.
